We started Pudge Studio because we think software deserves better.
Not better frameworks. Not better AI tools. Better care.
There's a version of building software where you paste prompts into a subscription tool, fight with generated code for weeks, and end up with something that looks like everything else on the internet and breaks the moment you try to change it. You're stuck paying $200 a month to keep the lights on, and you don't own any of it.
We think that's a terrible deal.
Pudge Studio exists to build the things that last. Real code, real architecture, real design — the kind of work where you get the source code, own your infrastructure, and never need us again unless you want to. We don't do lock-in. We do handoffs.
Why we build our own products
Most studios show you someone else's logo and call it a portfolio. We ship our own apps. An EQ player for audiophiles, an eBook reader for people who actually read, a camera app for photographers who know what ISO means. They're live, they have users, and they're built with the same engineering we bring to your project.
That's the difference between “we can build things” and “here, look — we already did.”

How we work
You get one person. Not a team that plays telephone with your requirements. One engineer who designs, builds, deploys, and supports your project from first call to final handoff. Same person next year if you come back. Same context. No starting over.
We're opinionated and transparent. If something won't work, we'll say so — and explain why. If something will take longer than expected, you'll know before it's late, not after. We don't hide behind process. We just build, and we keep you in the loop while we do it.
